Our organisations reach approximately 68 000 people annually, in the area of the Dutch Reformed Church Highveld Synod, through the following services:
Therapeutic Centre – Professional Therapeutic assessment as well as therapy for vulnerable, high risk children and their families.
Care for the Elderly – offer sustainable, affordable, dynamic and need-based care of the aged to and by the community. A holistic approach to the care of the aged is followed, implying that the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the individual are taken into account.
Child and Youthcare Centres – Registered child and youth care centres that focus on providing shelter, care and rehabilitation for children between the ages of birth and 18 years old, who have been subjected to trauma, abuse, molestation, poverty and neglect. In all our approaches we are connected to long term, comprehensive care which touches and strengthens all our children, so that they have the opportunity to lead productive and fulfilling lives.
Social Service Offices – Our social workers specialise in rendering aprofessional social work service to children and families at risk, to protect children and preserve family life and deliver a service to foster care and prospective adoptive parents. We believe in preventative services before the child is exposed to the Children’s Act and move into the system.
Community Development – Facilitate and support additional poverty alleviation and community development programmes and services rendered by affiliates.
Diaconal Services – Support community programmes operated by churches.
Training and Awareness Campaigns – To enhance service delivery through capacity building and the training of professional, semi-professional and unskilled staff as well as volunteers.
Organisational management & support – Manage and support the strategies and functioning of service delivery organisations to ensure the aims and mission statements at all levels of the Organisation are met.
